ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 5. As of June 1 of this year, the entire amount of funds on settlement, current accounts, and deposits of enterprises, organizations, and the population in Turkmen banks was 39.02 billion Turkmen manats ($11.16 billion), Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, these figures are 5.1 percent more than on the same date last year (37.12 billion Turkmen manats, or $10.62 billion).
Of the total amount, the share of funds of state-owned enterprises and organizations accounted for 25.16 billion Turkmen manats ($7.2 billion), which is 16.1 percent more than on June 1 last year (21.52 billion Turkmen manats, or $6.15 billion).
At the same time, the share of funds of enterprises, non-governmental organizations, and the population accounted for 13.86 billion Turkmen manats ($3.96 billion), which is 11.1 percent less than on the same date in 2022 (15.6 billion Turkmen manats or $4.46 billion).
Furthermore, the funds of individuals and entrepreneurs without the formation of a legal entity in the banks of Turkmenistan amounted to 4.06 billion Turkmen manats ($1.16 billion), which is 17.3 percent less than on June 1 last year (4.91 billion Turkmen manats or $1.4 billion).
