Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S. Babayeva / The Communications Minister of China plans to visit Azerbaijan, the Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Zhang Haizhou, said on 18 October.
According to him, the visit may take place within the thirteenth Azerbaijan International Exhibition and Conference BakuTel 2007 which will take place on 21-24 November in Baku.
"This issue is still under discussion," the Ambassador said. He said that like other spheres of economy, a global development strategy is realized in Azerbaijan.
"I am sure that it is the very right direction which may be fruitful and as a result, the Chinese companies will more actively participate in the IT sphere of Azerbaijan," the diplomat said.
Currently a project of agreement is being prepared for IT cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.
