Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / The UN Economic and Social Commission on Asia and Pacific Ocean (UNESCAP) expressed readiness to render assistance to Azerbaijan to develop the Information-Communications Technologies sphere, Daewon Choi, the chief of the Department of the commission on Information-Communications Technology sphere, said during the meeting with the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry Ali Abbasov.
The Ministry's press-service reported that the representatives of the UNESCAP, Choi and senior specialist on IT Cihat Basocak visited Azerbaijan to attend at the two day national workshop organized by the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry, UNESCAP and UN European Economic Cooperation. (UNECE).
The sides discussed the prospects of development of relations between the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry and UNESCAP.
