Estonian IT Specialists to Visit Baku

Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 April / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The specialists on Communications and IT technology from Estonia will visit Baku shortly to scrutinize the prospects for expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan. The relevant decision was taken during the meeting between Elmir Velizade- the Azerbaijani Deputy Minister for Communications and Information Technology and Kristina Ojuland- the Estonian Vice Speaker, the Ministry stated.

"After study of the ways of expansion of cooperation with local experts, they will develop concrete proposals on further actions," the Communications Ministry said.

Moreover, the sides reached to an agreement on mutual participation in the conferences, workshops and exhibitions, which will be organized in future. The meeting noted the expediency of opening new jobs.

The prospective directions of cooperation between the two countries in IT sector are- the electronic government, integration of interactive systems, electronic public access, public electronic libraries, electronic healthcare, electronic school, electronic registration, electronic voting, electronic money transfers and remote technology.
