( dpa ) - Users of the Firefox browser are urgently advised to update to the latest version. Some 11 vulnerabilities in all have been found in the browser as well as the companion applications Seamonkey and Thunderbird, reports the German Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology (BSI) in Bonn.
Five of these vulnerabilities have been classified as critical.
For Seamonkey, which combines an e-mail program with browsing capabilities, a new version is available. The holes remain unpatched for the Thunderbird mail client, however.
