Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 April /corr. Trend S.Babayeva / For the first time, a large philately shop will be opened in Azerbaijan, said the President of Azermarka Company, Intigam Bagirli.
"After collapse of the USSR, it will be the first philately shop in Azerbaijan," he said.
The shop will be located at the building of Azerpocht State Enterprise.
After Azerbaijan re-gained its independence due to collapse of the USSR, publishing post marks commenced since 1992. Up to know, Azermarka issued more than 600 post marks on various topics. During the first quarter of 2008, the Company issued seven post marks and four post cards.
