S.Babayeva / From January to March 2008, for about AZN 204.5mln worth communication services were rendered to organizations and population, which is more by 45.9% compared to the mentioned period in 2007, the State-run Statistic Committee of Azerbaijan reported.Almost 74% of incomes if from mobile services.
The rate of communication growth comprised 31.5% in the economic regions of Guba-Khachmaz, 49.2% - in Nagorno-Shirvan, 33.3% - Shaki-Zagatala, 27.9% - Aran, 77.7%- Nakhchivan, 37.4% - Lankaran, 29.3% - Absheron and 24.8% - Ganja-Gazakh.
The number of workers in the communication sphere made up 22,500, with monthly salary of about AZN 318, which is more by 36.7% compared to the mentioned period in 2007. Salaries in the State departments were up by 28.8% and 31.3% - in private sector.
