Azerbaijan,. Baku, 22 July / Trend corr. S.Babayeva /The rate of electrification of telephone network in Azerbaijan is 80.5% against 79.55 at the beginning of the year, the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Mnistry reported.
"This index reaches 85% in Baku and 75.9% in regions," the Ministry said.
The rate of electrification of automatic telephone exchanges in rural has increased by 2.5% and comprised 73.6%.
So, 15.1 telephone units falls per each 100 people - 33.9 units in Baku and 9.8 units in other regions.
