Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 November / Trend corr. S.Babayeva/ Azerbaijan and Belarus signed a joint action plan on development of ICT cooperation within the 14th international exhibition-conference of telecommunications and IT BakuTel-2008, Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and IT said.
"This step is of great importance and provides new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries," Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and IT Ali Abbasov said.
The document was inked by both countries' deputy communications ministers - Elmir Valizade Nikolai Strukov.
The action plan is the first document that was signed between Azerbaijan and Belarus in the field of ICT. It envisages staff trainings and business forums.
