S.Babayeva / In Jan-Oct 2008, AZN 744mln communication service rendered to organizations and population in Azerbaijan, the figure exceeds by 29.3% the same period in 2007, the State Statistic Committee reported. A total of 76% fell on the communication service rendered to the population.
Mobile communication service made up 72.2. The incomes raised by 33% compared to the mentioned period in 2007.
The increase in the communication sector of Guba-Khachmaz region made up 19.5%, Shirvan - 37.3%, Shaki-Zagatala - 21.2%, Lankaran - 15.2%, Absheron - 18.1% and Ganja-Gazakh - 15.5%.
