Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 Dec / Trend / Catel, the first Azerbaijani mobile communication operator of CDMA standard, announced introduction of 220 new series into exploitation in Fonex network on 3 Dec. Numbers of new series have been sold since 3 Dec, the company said.
Operator has had number series of 200, 202, 203, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 215, 218, 404 and 418.
Catel has announced a new campaign in connection with the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year. It will be possible to purchase gold numbers of Fonex network with 50% discount from 1 Dec to 31 Dec within the framework of this campaign. Gold numbers cost AZN 300, AZN 200, AZN 150, AZN 100 and AZN 75.
Established in 1997, Catel company offers wireless communication services under FH-CDMA standard for WLL subscribers (wireless subscriber access), as well as under 3G CDMA standard for subscribers of mobile communication.
The company introduced mobile communication technology of the third generation - CDMA 2000 1x on the equipment base of Huawei company for the first time in Azerbaijan in Aug 2004.
Catel introduced new trade brand of Fonex in Apr 2007, under which renders services of mobile communication of CDMA2000.
Subscribers of CDMA network exceed 15,000 people.
