In January-February, Azerbaijan's state investment in communication and information technology (IT) field made up almost 4.2 million manats, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and IT said on March 10.
In this period, the ministry's key enterprises, including Aztelekom Production Unity (PU) invested 1.8 milion manats, Baku telephone communication PU - 1.4 million manats, Azerpocht State Company (SC) - 65,000 manats, Teleradio PU - over 7,000 manats and Data Computing Centre - over 30,000 manats.
The IT Ministry invested 41 million manats in communication field in 2008.
