Since early 2009, the State Radiofrequency Agency at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Azerbaijan has filed a suit against 58 legal and physical entities which used unregistered or illegal radio electronic equipment.
"The agency won 39 of the cases," the agency said.
The agency examined radio electronic equipment and re-examined sealing equipment.
The technical examination revealed 651 radio electronic equipments unregistered with the agency. A total of 357 of the equipments have already been registered and 200 being registered at the moment. A total of 94 radio electronic equipment have been sealed and will not be operated any more.
The State Radiofrequency Agency deals with distribution, operation and control of frequencies in enterprises, state bodies and organizations.
