Azerpocht's automated system to be represented at ITU Telecom World 2009

Automated corporative-information system of Azerpocht OJSC was represented at ITU Telecom World 2009 in Geneva, Azerpocht said.
Presently, OJSC completed operations to introduce modules of payment and major accounting book. Audit system of Baku's six postal branches is fully integrated into automated corporative-information system. About 21 postal offices and 19 branches of Ganja have been already connected to the system at the regional level. Module allowing to transfer money and cashless accounts is used in offices.
Operations to introduce deposit modules and module of 'Internet banking' are under completion. Module of 'Treasury' is analyzed in parallel. Modules 'Monetary market' and 'Currency market' are component parts of 'Treasury' module. They are designed to automate purchase, sale and currency conversation (FOREX), drawing and allocation of funds (Money Market) by striking deals, etc.
The Exhibition ITU Telecom World 2009 International Telecommunication Union - ITU Telecom World 2009 was launched in Geneva on Oct.5, and will last until Oct.9. The exhibition is held under the motto "Open networks - United minds". The Azerbaijani delegation at the exhibition is headed by Communications and Information Technologies Minister, Ali Abbasov.
About 700 companies from 40 countries including 25 national pavilions are expected to participate in the exhibition.
The number of professional visitors will exceed 40,000 from 140 countries, including 1,000 VIP-visitors from 150 countries (including ministers, representatives of ministries, ambassadors, directors general, chief executive directors, etc.).
