The Azerbaijani Education Ministry plans to establish a Council on the evaluation of electronic educational resources. The development, dissemination and implementation of multimedia textbooks and other educational resources in education, as well as the creation, use, dissemination and evaluation of electronic scientific and methodological base will be the main tasks of the council. The council will be established in conformity with the requirements of the state program on informatization of the Azerbaijani education system in 2008-2012.
The e-educational resources are also planned to be widely used in the education system of Azerbaijan. All schools connected to the Azerbaijan Education Network (AZEDUNET) will be able to use e-resources, available on the National Educational Portal (Edu.az).
The created e-resources will be estimated in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the country's law "On education", Azerbaijani general concept of education (National Curriculum) and other relevant documents.
