In January-September, volume of telecommunication and postal services rendered to organizations and populations hit 731.8 million manat or 10.4 percent more than similar index of 2008, the Azerbaijani state statistics committee said.
Roughly 78.6 percent of total volume or 575 million manat falls to services rendered to population.
Roughly 71.8 percent of profit falls to mobile communication. Their growth hit 9.9 percent.
Growth of communication services hit 3.4 percent in Guba-Khachmaz, 2.2 percent in Nagorno-Shirvan region, 1.7 percent in Aran, 0.9 percent in Lankaran, 11.8 percent in Absheron and 1 percent in Sheki-Zagatala regions.
