Number of mobile users in Turkmenistan exceeds 2 million people, the ministry of communication said.
Russian Mobile TV Systems is indisputable leader rendering these services on the Turkmen market. It has outbid shares from U.S Barash Communications. There is also national operator ТМ Cell (Altyn Asyr) in Turkmenistan.
According to various information, Turkmen population hits from 5 to 5.5 million. The third mobile operator will appear in Ashgabat at this stage.
