The Communications and IT Ministry hosted a meeting for companies during a session of the Azerbaijani-Slovenian intergovernmental commission. The sides exchanged views on advanced technologies and innovations in IT and discussed future cooperation.
"Despite the financial crisis, we opened a representative office in Azerbaijan and intend to continue to invest in the country's economy," an official at the Slovenian Iskratel d.o.o said.
According to the businessman, Azerbaijan is one of a few countries, which were not severely pained by the global financial crisis. The company has already launched several projects to introduce modern IT technologies in Azerbaijan.
The round-table meeting was attended by representatives of the Slovenian companies: Hermes Softlab, Infotehna, Globtel doo, Robotina Ltd., Softnet doo, Najdi.si.
