Establishment of "Cicso Network Academies" is included in one of Cisco Systems social programs, held in several educational institutions of Azerbaijan, Cisco Systems' Central Asian office director general Ali Kuralkan said in an interview with the Azerbaijani magazine InfoCity.
He said the company certifies professionals of various levels, from the CCENT to CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). There are six people having the status of Certified Professionals CCIE in Azerbaijan. Some of them have CCIE status on several directions. But taking into account a few specialists with higher certificates of the company, two of them have a triple-level CCIE.
"At present, Azerbaijan is doubtless leader on a number of certified professionals in the region. We are sure that the number of these specialists will increase in future. The established 'Cicso Network Academies' must serve this purpose," Kuralkan said.
An engineer can get three CCIE certificates if he uses different technologies. Engineers in Azerbaijan focus on achievement of the highest level. Their number will increase, Kuralkan said. The same information refers to Cisco Learning Club.
Cisco Learning Club regional department head said implementation of Cisco Capital program is also possible today for Azerbaijani companies. It is an example of classic financial leasing. Much depends on clients' intentions and seriousness of implemented projects. There will be no problems with getting permission from Cisco Systems head office to implement Cisco Capital program. At present, about 35 percent of sale of Cisco equipment is financed owing to Cisco Capital program in neighboring Russia.
