Baku Telephone Communication Production Unit will complete operations on reconstruction of automatic telephone exchange- 423 in late January, the Communications and IT Ministry told Trend .
According to the Ministry's data, reconstruction of automatic telephone exchange besides improving the quality of communication services will increase the number of fixed-line subscribers up to 15,000 and broadband subscribers up to 5000.
At present, operations on transference of number capacity of the telephone station to a new electronic automatic telephone exchange are underway. Automatic telephone exchange network is based on NGN technology, which will provide public along with traditional communications services, and IP telephony services, broadband Internet and IP-TV.
