Azerbaijan, Baku, March 11 / Trend H.Valiyev /

Security systems have been neglected in the implementation of an e-government concept, Symantec Kazakhstan Director of Sales, Central Asia and the South Caucasus, Alexander Yakunin told Trend .

According to Yakunin, today the program for transition to e-government is not fully formed in Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Moreover, the importance of information security systems in the current projects is not formalized in these countries.

"Management wants to see the paperwork in e-form but did not think about making a real system secured and stable. Some believe that the state security service should deal with the security issues. Unfortunately, this issue has not yet reached the proper level, which could be developed," he added.

No less important factor inhibiting the formation of security systems is the lack of necessary funds for their establishment, he said.

A similar situation exists in the market of home users who are more inclined to use free versions of antivirus programs, which in themselves constitute a threat to the security system of the user's personal computer.

Free products cannot compete with commercial solutions, as well as the security system they are not implemented at the proper level. Security services cannot be provided free of charge because require funds and skilled employees, he said.
