The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry's Aztelekom PU has expanded the coverage zone of electronic telephone exchanges.
According to the ministry, the operator has launched the electronization of several automated telephone exchanges in the Khachmaz, Barda, Goranboy, Imishli and Sheki regions. The operator has also helped to increase the network's capacity by over 2,000 units.
The share of digital telephone exchanges in the republic is 84.9 percent.
