Azerbaijani Scientific-Production Company RISK introduced a new version of the air navigation system ACCENT Plus, built on the basis of the PANDA (Procedures for Air Navigation - Design and Analysis), the company told Trend .

ACCENT Plus system was first demonstrated during the twentieth international exhibition and conference on management and air traffic control ATC Global 2010, which took place in Amsterdam March 9-11.

Air Navigation System ACCENT Plus, with completely refurbished unit data management, has new features, based on the model of the exchange of aeronautical information AIXM 5.1. (Aeronautical Information Exchange Model). It was developed for the management and distribution of aeronautical information in digital format. The model supports current and future requirements of aeronautical information, the latest requirements of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and user requirements for aeronautical information, including obstacles, approach procedures and database of airports' maps.

The system allows automating control to overcome the interference in the area of airports, ensuring the evolution of the old airfield circuits for air navigation procedures developed by the ICAO standards and other navigational challenges.

For the first time, a decision on the establishment of PANDA was taken after the designers of air navigation procedures of Azerbaijan and Latvia accumulate experience to use ICAO Document 8168 (PANS-OPS) and agree on the need to apply automation in their work. Azerbaijani RISK company joined to participate to resolve this problem.

The difference between PANDA system from competing products is the ability to independently form the entire procedures based on multivariate analysis of controlling parameters with recommendations.
