Azericard's processing center will provide an opportunity to receive a password 3D Secure, through the ATM network next week, AzeriCard Processing Center Business Development head Jahangir Mammadov said.
Mammadov said that the processing center has activated module that allows to enter a password while implementing 3D Secure to conduct online payments for holders of plastic cards, served in Azericard system. A service is offered on an individual basis after the official request to the bank.
Password 3D Secure is a pin for the card, through which one can pay for goods and services directly through the website. If the website supports 3D Secure technologies, the system will automatically requests the password 3D Secure, which will be known only to the cardholder. Security of data transmission network is provided by using encryption protocol SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
3D Secure protocol has been developed by international payment systems VISA International and MasterCard International to protect clients' funds, conducting operations in the Internet.
