Iran has begun to work on the development of e-mail Iran E-mail, providing a high level of safety and quality, Deputy Chairman of Information Technologies at the Ministry of Communications, Askar Ali Ansari, said, MEHR news agency reported.
Ansari added that at present e-mail, access to which is available at www.iran.ir, is used at the governmental level. But it will be freely available to everyone as soon as possible after the approval of the law. He also noted that Iranian e-mail can be used only within the country.
Now, about 3,000 people have expressed a desire to use the Iranian e-mail.
