Azerbaijan to take part in preparation of conceptual regulations on establishing centre for security in cyberspace

Commission on Information Security of the Regional Communications Commonwealth (RCC) has decided to prepare conceptual regulations on establishing a centre for security in cyberspace, RCC said.

Commission on Information Security of the Regional Communications Commonwealth (RCC) has decided to prepare conceptual regulations on establishing a centre for security in cyberspace, RCC said.

The decision was taken during the 11th session of the Commission on Information Security under the CIS member countries' Coordination Council for Informatization, held last week in Moscow.
Meeting of the Information Security Commission was preceded by the 6th  Eurasian Forum "International problems of information exchange and information security" and the first International IT conference and exhibition "Safe City". Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by the Communications and IT Ministry.

Ready conceptual regulations are planned to be submitted to the next meeting of the Coordination Council, which will be held September 28 in Kishinev.

During the meeting, participants also got acquainted with the possibility of internationalization of the Internet governance and to start working out of joint measures to promote this position at the international forums. Discussions over the use of technologies for protected relevant in law cross-border data exchange at the level of national e-governments of the RCC member states.

Participants of the Commission meeting got acquainted with the actions on implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for realization of the Concept of the CIS member states cooperation in the field of information security for the period from 2008 to 2010 carried out in the Coordination Council member states.
