State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan prevented the fact mobile phone smuggling in Azerbaijan, the Committee said.
They mobile phones were tried to be imported from Georgia and Iran into Azerbaijan.
As a result of the operation the customs officers revealed and seized 159 mobile phones of various models and over 700 accessories (headsets, chargers, USB-cable, etc.) to them.
They don't have relevant documents to cross the state borders. The smuggled goods detained and now are in stock. In connection with the fact examination and evaluation will be held. Petition a criminal case of smuggling of mobile phones is being solved.
