With the sponsorship of Bakcell, the first mobile operator, the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan Republic and Social Services Initiative Organization held "Play Day" for pupils of boarding school, the company reported. The event in the framework of the International Olympic Solidarity was organized at the Surakhani Boarding Scholl N 7.
Athletes to participate at the Singapore Summer Olympic Games organized safe, fun and inclusive games for the children with special needs. Further, young athletes had individual meeting with the children to motivate them to play sport athletes by sharing their experience from professional sport.
"Play Day" was organized in the framework of the preparation strategy of athletes in line with the Cultural and Education Program which is essential part of the Olympic Games. The main goal of the event was to inspire young athletes for being socially responsible from early ages and make them to gain experience in the sphere of social responsibility.
At the end of event, Bakcell representative presented sport uniforms and facilities to the children advising to do more sport activities.
