Dell Inc, the world's third largest personal computer producer, Thursday reported a profit boost of 15 per cent in the second quarter, to 545 million dollars, evidence of continuing strength in computer sales as the economy recovers from recession, dpa reported.
Sales gained 22 per cent to 15.5 billion dollars. Private and corporate buyers are investing in hardware, and Dell said it anticipated sales growth to continue in the third-quarter, if at a somewhat lower percentage in the low single digits.
