Azerbaijan, Baku, Aug. 27 / Trend H.Valiyev /

An Azerbaijani IT company finished introducing two new e-government modules at the Economic Development Ministry.

The Ultra company told Trend today that the civil review module will allow citizens to appeal to individual offices at the ministry via the Internet. They will then be able to follow the course of their applications. The personnel management module will increase the level of professionalism among ministry staff. The e-systems will be expanded to all of the ministry's structures.

Ultra is currently organizing training sessions for ministry staff on how to best use the modules.

The ministry uses a Megapolis DocNet system, which allows documents to be quickly prepared and disseminated to target recipients. The system also reduces the need for human resources and paper. On the intranet level, the ministry uses digital signatures.

The ministry is implementing an e-government program, which envisages the complete transfer from paper to electronic records.
