Chinese company offers Azerbaijani mobile operators platform for 3G network deployment

The Chinese company ZTE is interested in cooperation with the Azerbaijani mobile operators in the 3G network deployment, Director of the Department for work with private clients of the ZTE Company’s Azerbaijani representative office Nurlan Azimov.

The Chinese company ZTE is interested in cooperation with the Azerbaijani mobile operators in the 3G network deployment, Director of the Department for work with private clients of the ZTE Company's Azerbaijani representative office Nurlan Azimov.

He said today the company is negotiating with several players in the telecommunications market on the possibility of introducing new telecommunications solutions.

As in many countries in Azerbaijan also the main issue today is the demand and consequently the existence of a license, which allows exploiting this or other equipment.

"If any operator in the mobile market of Azerbaijan, besides Azerfon, receives a license to deploy the 3G network, then we as a company are ready to provide all of our technological solutions and discuss all details of cooperation in this direction," Azimov said.

Today, ZTE is a leader in the world for supply of the 3G equipment. The producer's line includes both the Core Network, and Radio Access Network. Solutions of the producer allows managing load for 2G base stations and ready to transmit large amounts of data over IP in the case of the 3G network deployment or higher.
The product range also includes the terminal devices, working on all standards of communication (GSM, UMTS, CDMA, WiMAX, etc.), in price ranges from low to high-end devices.
