Azerbaijani mobile operator LLC "Azerfon" implemented a pilot project to install the 3G-surveillance cameras in Baku school No 47, Azerfon corporate communications manager Elshad Farzaliyev told Trend.
Farzaliyev said that a pilot project was implemented jointly with the Ministry of Education. The 3G-cameras were installed in the first, second, third and fourth classes. It allows parents to monitor the online progress of children.
"The service is an innovation on the mobile market of Azerbaijan. The project, implemented in these schools, is a pilot. If the pilot exploitation of 3G-cameras is in demand, then we can consider its extension at other secondary schools," Farzaliyev said.
A mobile 3G-surveillance camera can be used for both business management and personal safety. The system allows to remotely change the direction of the camera via a mobile phone. It is also possible to transmit images with sound.
