Azerbaijani Communications and Information Technologies Ministry's Production Unit Baku Telephone Communications has completed installation of telephones in settlements of the Khazar district of Baku, the ministry told Trend.
The operator installed new electronic automated telephone exchanges in the settlement of Turkan Albalilig. Fiber-optic line from the ATE 454 in the direction Turkan-Hovsan has been laid to render a stable communication services by the Production Unit, which allowed it to connect the optical network of the ATEs in the Gala and Turkan settlements. The STM1 equipment was installed for organization of alternative communication in ATEs in these settlements.
It is also planned to lay fiber-optic line in the direction of Zira-Pirallahi. Multimedia services in the territory of telecommunication node of the Khazar district are rendered by using IAD - Integrated Access Device.
The operator has launched DSLAM - equipment of port capacity in the amount of over 3,000 units in 16 electron ATEs of Baku.
