Azerbaijani system integrator - SiSTEMA company completed a pilot project to build a fiber-optic network to provide broadband Internet, the company said.
The company completed testing the network. Now it connects subscribers to the Internet.
SiSTEMA's telecommunication infrastructure was based on the Russian developer and the manufacturer of telecommunication equipment QTECH. A partnership agreement was signed with it.
The equipment purchased by SiSTEMA, is used to build Ethernet network, as well as to provide the public with broadband Internet. Delta Telecom is a provider of international communication channels.
