The Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry announced expression of interests for Georgian and foreign companies with the intention to sell LTD "Georgian Post", the ministry reported.
Georgian Post Ltd. is completely in government's ownership. The company operates nationwide and owns approximately 87,000 square meters of land and 100,000 square meters of building space.
"Georgian Post" also includes "International Express Mail Service of Georgia" which is a part of Global "Express mail services" since 2001. "Georgian Post" Disseminates post to 200 different countries and all regions of Georgia
The Georgian government of is open to review different concepts of development of the company by the prospective buyer. The deadline for expression of internet is Dec.1, the ministry reported.
100 percent share of the LTD "Referral Hospital" owned by the government will also be presented at the public auction. The initial price for the item is $500,000 equivalent in Georgian Lari.
The hospital is located in Isani, 1 Kindzmarauli str. The auction will be held on November 9. According to the contract obligations, the buyer is obliged to make a 3-million USD investment with the intention to reconstruct the building and update the technical base of the hospital within 36 months after the auction. The above mentioned works must be carried out with the consent of Ministries of Economy and Healthcare. Moreover the buyer takes the obligation of maintaining medical profile to LTD "Referral Hospital" for 7 years.
