The process of issuing electronic signatures in Azerbaijan is expected to start by the end of November, said the director of integration and business development at Ultra Company Mahammad Zulfugarli.
According to Zulfugarli, today 99.5 percent of the project is completed.
Director of scientific capacity and strategic planning department of the ministry Isfandiyar Aliyev told earlier that the final document will be submitted to the government.
The introduction of digital signatures is envisaged within the next stage of the State Program on development of communication and information technologies in Azerbaijan for 2010-2012, which aims to ensure the transition to an information society, building a competitive economy based on knowledge through ICT.
The project is implemented according to the law of Azerbaijan on electronic signature and electronic document.
