The amount of information and communication services rendered to the organizations and the population amounted to 933 mln manat in January-October of 2010, or 32.1 percent more than same period of 2009, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Thus, 74.1 percent of total revenue falls on services rendered to population. Some 67.6 percent of revenues fall to mobile service, the growth of which hit 33.2 percent compared to the same period of last year and amounts to 630.6 million manat.
The State Committee also notes an increase in the rate of production of ICT equipment in the country. Thus, in January-October of 2010, computer, electronic, optical and electrical equipment in the country was produced at 87.1 million manat. The 82 - percent growth has been observed in the manufacture of electrical equipment. Finished goods in the amount of 10.7 million manat have been in stock, which made five percent of the total reserves of production of industrial enterprises.
