The Radio Monitoring Department of the State Administration for Radio Frequencies under the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry is measuring the electromagnetic areas of TV and radio channels broadcast from Iran, Armenia and Russia, the department said.
The monitoring was conducted in 28 districts.
The department works to strengthen control over TV and radio waves of neighboring countries used for broadcasting TV and radio channels.
At present, the protocol on the separation of channels was signed with Iran, according to which the odd channels broadcast Azerbaijani TV channels and the even - Iranian ones. There is the similar agreement with Georgia and Russia.
According to the international standards and ITU recommendations, the invasion of another country in the ethereal space within a radius of 300 kilometers is allowed depending on the terrain.
