The Finnish Nokia Corporation will appoint the head of its representation in Azerbaijan by late February, Mobitel, the company's official distributor in the country, told Trend.
Nokia opened a representative office in Azerbaijan in November 2010.
At present, issues related to legal document execution are being solved, after which the head of the representation, whose name is still unknown, will start activity in the country.
The Azerbaijani representation will mainly address issues associated with product sales and logistics, as well as strengthening the company's position on the Azerbaijani market.
By opening the office, the company intends to become closer to its partners.
Mobile communications penetration, according to official figures, already reaches 100 percent in Azerbaijan.
