Intel plans to launch innovation projects commercialization program in Azerbaijan

Intel will consider the joint approaches to start "Technological entrepreneurship - from theory to practice" program in Azerbaijan. It will allow launching the innovative projects commercially, the director of Intel Corporation press-service in Russia and CIS Mikhail Rybakov told Trend.

Rybakov said that a project is expected to be launched in Azerbaijan. It can be realized in accordance with that one implemented in Russia and other countries.

The main purpose of the program is to provide a generation of young innovators with knowledge and skills necessary to build business in the field of modern information technologies. The program has been developed jointly by the University of California at Berkeley (US) and Intel. It is designed for undergraduate students, graduate students and professors of scientific and technical specialties.

The methodical workshops are held for teachers to study international best practice of teaching the technological entrepreneurship within the program. The educational initiatives of university students are supported while creating and testing the programs of technological entrepreneurship.
