Kaspersky Laboratory, the Russian producer of information security systems, may offer the educational sector of Azerbaijan substantial discounts for its solutions, said Konstantin Matyukhin, Kaspersky Laboratory Account Manager.

Discounts to be provided may reach or even exceed 20 percent of the standard price list, he said. As a rule, such projects are implemented through the company's partnership network, and clients very often make demands concerning functional of product the company subscribes to.

"Supply of solutions at discount terms depends on project's size and marginality of partner transaction. Other schemes are also assumable. On the whole, we offer educational and state institutions discounts, which sometimes appear to be very substantial. As concerning directly the educational sector, we pay a rather serious attention to it in many countries, including Azerbaijan," said Matyukhin.

Samir Mammadov, Chief of the Ministry of Education's Educational System Information Department, said earlier, "The Kaspersky Laboratory is eager to partake in the project of computerization of Azerbaijan's educational institutions and currently examines options of offering the Azerbaijani side special discount tariffs for its products. The Kaspersky Laboratory solutions have been applied in the educational system of Azerbaijan for a rather long period of time, and the question today is about expansion of cooperation. After the company makes its concrete proposals the Azerbaijani side will be ready to examine them".
