Ideal PLM CIS, the subsidiary IT-company to Finnish Ideal Product Data and official partner to Siemens PLM Software in Finland, Russia and CIS members, signed a cooperation agreement with Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and Uzavtosanoat branch, the company reported.
The agreement stipulates that Ideal PLM may supply software for Siemens PLM Software - Teamcenter and NX modules, and install them with a branch of Turin Polytechnic University and Uzavtosanoat.
Ideal PLM will train Turin Polytechnic University teachers and specialists at Uzavtosanoat on the use of NX and Teamcenter software, which would reduce costs in the production of goods, improving their quality, reduce the production term, and ensure manufacturers interaction with assembly-line producers.
A demonstration will soon be established showcasing achievements made in computer technologies. The demonstration will use Siemens PLM Software products and provide specialized classes training skilled specialists in the automobile industry.
The Turin Polytechnic University branch in Tashkent was established according to Uzbek President Islam Karimov's decree in April 2009. The university aims to train highly qualified specialists in automotive and mechanical engineering, electrical industries, energy companies, industrial and civil engineering organizations, and construction companies.
Uzavtosanoat, which unites the Uzbek automotive sector, was established in 2004 on the basis of Uzavtoprom . The company includes 30 enterprises, including joint ventures specializing in production of components for the automotive industry.
