Azerbaijan will be represented by the national pavilion of one of the world's largest ICT exhibitions on Turkey, the countries of South-East Asia and the Black Sea region - CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia, the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry told Trend.
Cebit Bilisim Eurasia -2011 will be held in Istanbul on October 6-9.
The main objectives of the national pavilion are to present the Azerbaijani economy, the latest achievements and projects realized in the ICT field. The information about the projects of creating a regional innovation zone and launching the first national telecommunication satellite Azerspace, introducing ICT in education and other fields will be demonstrated on the stands. The achievements of private IT-companies will be also demonstrated.
Over 131,000 visitors will attend the exhibition. About 1,066 companies from 16 countries participate in the exhibition this year. The total exhibition area is more than 19,000 square meters.
"E-government", innovations, financial sector, "e-health" and others will be the traditional spheres. Mobile and wireless broadband will be widely represented at the exhibition.
