Azerbaijan, Baku, November 4 / Trend, G. Veliyev /
The frequencies provided to Azerbaijani communications operators for 3G standard services are not being used by the B&B TV cable television operator, Ali Agan, the head of Azercell, told reporters on Friday.
"We tested 3G services using a big global company, and the scanning results have illustrated that these frequencies are not being used," Agan said.
He noted that B&B TV demands an "astronomical sum" to pass the frequencies to the mobile link operators.
B&B TV head Sabina Babayeva told Trend yesterday that the cable television operator appealed to the Administrative Economic Court No. One in Baku on the occasion of the State Radio Frequencies Commission's decision demanding a new frequency spectrum.
