Kazakh telecommunication company Kazakhtelecom is developing a project on introducing 4G network in Kazakhstan, the company's Chief IT manager Marat Abdildabekov said on Tuesday, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.

"We will actively work on issues associated with broadband service - we have plans for the development of mobile lines, in particular, we are talking about 4G," Abdildabekov said during an online conference.

"With regard to our traditional communications services, our goal is to provide the most qualitative services," he added.

Kazakhtelecom is the national telecommunication operator and the largest telecommunication company in Kazakhstan. The company has branches in all regions of Kazakhstan. Kazakhtelecom's main shareholder is Kazakh National Welfare Fund Samruk Kazyna.
