The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry will submit a 4G services license to the Azercell mobile operator within a month, Minister Ali Abbasov said on Wednesday.

Abbasov added that Azercell is ready to provide 4G services in Baku "The license will be issued in the near future. Licenses will also be issued to the remaining operators Azerfon and Bakcell. It all depends on their technical readiness. Work in this direction continues," he said.

Fourth generation network will cover the territory of the capital, Azercell told Trend earlier. Separate Hot-Spot stations, which will provide 4G, will be operating at the Seaside National Park. The matter is about the services of data transmission.

The company plans to introduce new tariff plans, precise details of which have not been disclosed in anticipation of launching a 4G network.

DATA-cards that support the LTE standard will also be offered to users. LTE technology is chosen as core technology of the fourth generation.
