Japanese telecommunications company to help Kazakhtelecom to develop IT services

Japanese and Kazakh telecommunications companies Transcosmos Inc. and Kazakhtelecom signed a memorandum of cooperation within the Fifth Astana Economic Forum on Wednesday

Japanese and Kazakh telecommunications companies Transcosmos Inc. and Kazakhtelecom signed a memorandum of cooperation within the Fifth Astana Economic Forum on Wednesday, the Kazakh company reported.

According to the memorandum, Transcosmos Inc. will provide support to Kazakhtelecom in development of innovative IT services in different spheres.

In particular, the memorandum envisages launch and development of portals, including search tools and e-mail addresses and creation and development of CDN networks and portals with game content in Kazakhstan. Moreover, Transcosmos Inc. will help Kazakhtelecom to organize and develop call-centers to improve call handling and develop SaaS services for information storage in the country.

Moreover, the two companies agreed to exchange experience on the spread of Kazakhtelecom's local content through CDN network.

According to Kazakhtelecom's senior IT director Abdildabekov Marat, the company always seeks new partners that can bring new technologies of development of information and communication services to Kazakhstan.
