Belarus has made an offer to Kazakhstan to buy its 51 per cent share in the Belarusian-Russian company MTS.
"We have made an offer to the Kazakh mobile service provider to buy our 51 per cent share in MTS.
"MTS is a successful company with five million subscribers in Belarus," the Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich said, speaking at the Kazakh-Russian business forum in Astana.
According to him, the issue was previously discussed at a meeting between the presidents of the two countries.
