The share of Windows XP market decreased by 32.98 percent in Jan.-Nov., Global Stats statistics center said on Dec.21.
There was some 41 percent decrease compared to the same period of 2012. Windows XP operating system has around 20.83 percent share in Azerbaijan's operating system market.
The market share of Microsoft Windows 7 operating system in Azerbaijan has increased by 5.87 percent in 11 months. Windows 7 is the most popular operating system in Azerbaijan and has over 66.73 percent share in the market. The market share of Windows 7 increased by 11.71 percent compared to the same period of 2012.
The market share of Windows 8 increased by over five times and hit 6.05 percent in Jan.-Nov., according to Global Stats. It is followed by MacOSX with 1.12 percent share and Windows Vista with 0.48 percent share.
