Azerbaijan imported 103,068 mobile phones and other mobile devices, using wireless networks, worth a total of $10,248,600 in January-March 2017, the country’s State Statistics Committee told Trend May 15.
According to the Committee, the number of mobile phones imported by the country increased more than threefold in 1Q17 as compared to January-March 2016.
Azerbaijan imported 34,193 mobile phones in the first quarter of 2016.
In terms of value, the figure increased by about 2.3 times.
